James Early, host of The Bible Speaks to You Podcast, is a Bible teacher, speaker, and coach, and church mentor, whose work focuses on helping people think, pray, and love like Jesus. For nearly two decades, he has conducted weekly Bible study workshops at the Federal Correctional Institution in Danbury, Connecticut, bringing the Bible’s message of hope and transformation to people behind prison walls.
In 2019, James launched The Bible Speaks to You Podcast, where he explores the teachings of Jesus and what it means to put them into practice in everyday life. Through his talks, workshops, podcast, and coaching, James encourages people to move beyond simply learning about Jesus and discover what it means to embrace his way of thinking, praying, and loving.
What does it mean to let our light shine in a world that needs it? What might be different if we really trusted that our individual expression of Christian Science has something valuable to offer? Where are we tempted to keep that light safely under a basket—comfortable, familiar, perhaps even unnoticed? And what might happen if we were willing to set it on a hill instead?
Jesus didn’t say some people are the light of the world. He said you are. So what does that mean for the way we live Christian Science—not just within our churches and communities, but in our relationships, our campuses, our workplaces, and the wider world?
